News from the Moms and Dads Associations

The Parent Programs Office is seeking volunteers to participate in the President’s Award Program welcome and informational session in March 2008. Last year, four volunteers helped greet parents and answer questions from 9-10 am, and were invited to stay longer if they wished to. Volunteers will be asked to hand out materials, answer questions, and talk with parents and their students who have been extended an offer of attendance to the University for fall 2008. If you are interested in volunteering or learning more, please contact the Parent Programs Office at (217) 333-7063 or uofiparentprogramsatad.uiuc.edu

The Moms and Dads Associations would like to congratulate the winners of the Tuition Drawing. JoAnn Holdner of Milstadt, Illinois was the first place winner and Sue Davis of Mokena, Illinois was the second place winner.

Registration is due Friday, March 14.

The Moms Association at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is soliciting requests for funding proposals to be awarded in the Spring of 2008. The recipient will receive a monetary donation to be used to support the event and/or program submitted in the proposal.
