Learn From the Experts!

Barrington Area Moms Club

The Barrington Area Moms Club gathered together for a luncheon at a local restaurant for parents of incoming freshman as well as seasoned members. For Halloween, the Club hosted a "Halloween Care Package Assembling Party" where parents brought items to be assembled into a care package for their students. In addition, the Club has teamed up with members of the Dads Association to host a pot luck for all parents of Illinois students. The newer Illini Moms really enjoy getting together and hearing tips from the more experienced Moms of upperclassman. Effingham County Moms Club

The Effingham County Moms Club meets on a monthly basis where they are able to network and exchange information. The organizers send e-mails out a couple times a month to remind Moms of upcoming events at the Unviersity and locally. They have hosted parties for incoming Freshman and their Moms, invited speakers from the University, and have planned basketball watch parties.
