DADS CERTIFICATE OF MERIT NOMINATION

Each year the University of Illinois Dads Association recognizes excellence in the following categories at their annual banquet held during Dads Weekend:

2. Student
3. Staff
4. Student Organization

We want to recognize the excellence in your college or department this year. This is one way you can show your appreciation for an Outstanding Staff, Outstanding Faculty, Outstanding Student, Outstanding Student Organization - as well as a way to highlight them to parents. The award recipients will be presented with a monetary award as well as a personalized gift. The Dads Association will publicly recognize their achievements at our annual banquet, in the newsletter and other media.

Please nominate candidates in as many categories as appropriate and submit the nominations with two letters of support. The support letters will help the committee to evaluate your candidate. Please contact us for additional information.

The nominations will be read by the Certificate of Merit committee, which is comprised of members of the Dads Association Board of Directors. The recipients will be notified of their selection. Award recipients and their nominator are invited to be our guests at the Annual Dads Association Banquet to be held Friday, October 31, 2008.

We hope that you will help us by nominating the outstanding person or organization that you believe should be recognized in 2008. These awards are very meaningful to the Dads Association and the parents we serve.
